Getting Outside Your Comfort Zone

Getting Outside Your Comfort Zone
Are you destined for greatness? Absolutely. So what's holding you back? You're comfortable with where you're now. It's comfy, yet you aren't really where you're assumed to be. You're not doing what you're presumed to be doing. You're not reaching the individuals who want you most.

I'm a TREMENDOUS proponent of stepping outside your safe place. I've completed it when I've been lucky to do a little fun and thrilling things. I've studied abroad in Norway and volunteered in Africa. I've gone sky-diving, parasailing, dog sledding and shark diving. Not one of these compared to what I did this past week.

I visited a convention for four times and three nights, and I left my new born (about 1 1 months aged) at house. Yes, that was harder than going to a third world nation and jumping from a airplane. Why? His voice is the primary sound I hear every morning, so when a single mommy I'm alone who places him to sleep during the nighttime. I've visited about five or six seminars this year, but every time, my son came with me. This time he didn't.

I had been attending a mindset retreat. When I created the decision to leave him at house in the treatment of my sister and mother, I didn't understand if it would help or hurt me...would I be missing him so much that I wouldn't be focused or would I still be able to focus more since I wouldn't be diverted?
